Responsibility
- Supervise and coordinate daily distribution operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Lead, train, and motivate a team of distribution staff to achieve performance targets and maintain high productivity.
- Optimize delivery routes and schedules to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure adequate stock availability.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all distribution activities.
- Resolve any logistical issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and inventory transactions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and customer service, to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics, distribution, or supply chain supervision.
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to motivate staff.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in logistics software, inventory management systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Familiarity with local and regional transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays, as needed.
