Responsibility
- Develop and implement distribution plans to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely product deliveries.
- Monitor and analyze inventory turnover, stock levels, and demand forecasts to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
- Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and transportation teams to streamline logistics operations.
- Utilize data analytics and ERP systems to track shipment performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align distribution strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare reports on distribution metrics, including delivery times, costs, and efficiency improvements.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies related to logistics and inventory management.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain processes and reduce operational inefficiencies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in distribution planning, inventory management, or logistics coordination.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
- Knowledge of local and international logistics regulations and best practices.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is a plus.
