Responsibility
- Oversee end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment for Alfamart’s retail network.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing warehouse team, fostering a culture of productivity, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Optimize inventory management processes, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping, to minimize errors and maximize efficiency.
- Implement and monitor KPIs and performance metrics to track operational efficiency, cost control, and service levels.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and retail teams to align distribution strategies with business goals and demand forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards in all warehouse activities.
- Leverage WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and other technologies to streamline operations and improve data accuracy.
- Develop and execute process improvement initiatives to enhance workflow, reduce waste, and increase scalability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in warehouse or distribution center management, preferably in retail or FMCG sectors.
- Proven track record of leading large teams and managing high-volume distribution operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control, and logistics software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with a data-driven approach.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate across departments.
- Familiarity with lean management, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing business needs.
