Responsibility
- Oversee daily transportation and distribution operations to ensure on-time and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to optimize route planning, fleet utilization, and warehouse efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as delivery times, transportation costs, and service levels.
- Coordinate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline supply chain processes and resolve bottlenecks.
- Ensure compliance with local and international transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of logistics staff to foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Negotiate contracts with third-party logistics providers to secure favorable terms and expand service capabilities.
- Utilize logistics software and data analytics tools to forecast demand, track shipments, and generate actionable insights.
Qualifications
- Bachelorās degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transportation, distribution, or logistics management, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
- Proven track record of optimizing logistics operations, reducing costs, and improving delivery performance.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP software.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to manage teams and stakeholders effectively.
- Familiarity with Indonesian logistics regulations and customs procedures is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to drive data-informed decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.
