Responsibility
- Wash, clean, and sanitize all dishes, glassware, utensils, and kitchen equipment according to hygiene standards.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as peeling, chopping, and ingredient organization.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including proper waste disposal and recycling.
- Restock clean dishes, utensils, and supplies for the kitchen and dining areas as needed.
- Support chefs and cooks by transporting ingredients and prepared dishes between stations.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service hours.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during peak hours.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a dishwasher or kitchen helper in a restaurant, hotel, or catering service is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 20 kg.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Positive attitude, reliability, and a strong work ethic.
- Fluency in Indonesian; basic English is a plus.
