Responsibility

  • Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef in daily food preparation and cooking.
  • Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate supplies for daily operations.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop new menu items and specials.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Follow recipes and portion controls to minimize waste and control costs.
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings and contribute ideas for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Cook or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
