Responsibility
- Wash, clean, and sanitize all kitchen utensils, cookware, and equipment to maintain hygiene standards.
- Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, fruits, and other food items.
- Support the kitchen team by restocking supplies, organizing storage areas, and ensuring all stations are well-maintained.
- Maintain a clean and orderly dishwashing area, including proper waste disposal and recycling practices.
- Assist in basic food preparation tasks under the guidance of chefs and kitchen supervisors.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the kitchen manager or head chef.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a kitchen or dishwashing role is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects (up to 20 kg).
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow within the hospitality industry.
