Responsibility
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including taking orders, answering inquiries, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
- Operate and maintain café equipment, such as espresso machines, grinders, and blenders, to ensure optimal performance.
- Manage cashier duties, including processing payments, handling cash, and maintaining accurate transaction records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace, adhering to hygiene and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth café operations during peak hours.
- Assist in inventory management, including tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock.
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to enhance customer experience and drive sales.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role within the hospitality industry (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Strong knowledge of coffee brewing techniques, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with a diverse customer base.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and inventory tracking.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Certification in food safety or barista training is a plus.
