As a key member of our Information & Communication Technology department, you will bridge the gap between technical infrastructure and business strategy. You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of Disaster Recovery, from conducting comprehensive Business Impact Analyses (BIA) to executing complex failover exercises in our data centers. Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Disaster Recovery (DR) plans and Business Continuity Management (BCM) frameworks.
- Lead and coordinate regular DR testing exercises, including system failovers and data restoration, to ensure Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO) are met.
- Conduct regular Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities in data center operations.
- Monitor and manage data center resilience strategies, ensuring high availability of critical infrastructure and cloud services.
- Collaborate with IT infrastructure and security teams to integrate recovery protocols into the system development lifecycle.
- Act as a primary point of contact during major IT incidents, managing communication and recovery coordination.
- Ensure compliance with international standards such as ISO 22301 and relevant local regulatory requirements.
- Prepare detailed reports on DR readiness, test results, and post-incident reviews for senior management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in IT Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, or Data Center Operations.
- Proven expertise in backup technologies, replication software, and cloud-based recovery solutions (AWS/Azure).
- Strong understanding of ITIL frameworks and incident management processes.
- Professional certification such as CBCP (Certified Business Continuity Professional), ISO 22301 Lead Implementer, or ITIL is highly desirable.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate complex technical risks into business impact.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to work on a contract basis with a high potential for renewal or conversion.
