In this strategic leadership role, you'll own the backbone of our HR infrastructure, from talent acquisition to employee experience, compliance, and HR technology. You'll partner with our executive team to align people strategies with business objectives, ensuring we attract, develop, and retain top talent in the competitive tech and gaming industries.
Based in Bali, Indonesia (with flexibility across Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung), you'll work remotely while collaborating with teams across APAC, EMEA, and the Americas. Responsibility
- Lead and scale Coda Payments' global People Operations team, establishing best-in-class HR processes and systems.
- Develop and implement strategic HR initiatives aligned with business goals, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for all team members.
- Drive HR compliance across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to local labor laws and global HR standards.
- Partner with senior leadership to design and execute organizational development programs, including leadership training and career pathing.
- Optimize HR technology stack, including HRIS, ATS, and performance management tools, to enhance efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
- Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives, fostering a culture of belonging and psychological safety.
- Manage HR budgets, forecasting, and reporting, providing insights to support business growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role (Director, Head of HR, or equivalent).
- Proven track record in scaling People Operations for global, remote-first organizations in the tech, gaming, or fintech sectors.
- Strong expertise in HR compliance, labor laws, and employment regulations across APAC and other key markets.
- Experience implementing and optimizing HRIS, ATS, and other HR technologies (e.g., Workday, BambooHR, Greenhouse).
- Exceptional leadership skills with a focus on building high-performing, diverse teams.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to translate business needs into actionable HR strategies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification is a strong advantage.
