As a strategic partner to the General Manager, you will oversee all HR functions, from talent acquisition and development to employee relations and compliance. Responsibility
- Strategic HR Leadership: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with Marriott’s business goals, focusing on talent retention, diversity, and operational excellence.
- Talent Acquisition & Development: Oversee end-to-end recruitment for all property roles, including leadership pipelines, and implement career development programs.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive work environment, resolve complex employee issues, and ensure compliance with Indonesian labor laws and Marriott policies.
- Performance Management: Design and monitor performance metrics, recognition programs, and succession planning to drive productivity and engagement.
- Compensation & Benefits: Manage competitive compensation structures, benefits packages, and payroll processes in collaboration with regional HR teams.
- Training & Culture: Lead onboarding, leadership training, and cultural initiatives to embed Marriott’s core values across all properties.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to health/safety regulations, labor standards, and ethical practices, mitigating organizational risks.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with property leadership, corporate HR, and external vendors to align HR practices with business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, PHR) preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in HR leadership roles, with at least 5 years in hospitality or luxury service industries. Experience in Southeast Asia is a plus.
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead large, multicultural teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on service excellence.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in HRIS (e.g., Workday, SAP), ATS, and data analytics tools to drive HR metrics and reporting.
- Language: Fluent in English (required); proficiency in Indonesian (Bahasa) is highly advantageous.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities with a customer-centric mindset.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of hospitality operations, labor laws in Indonesia, and global HR best practices.
- Mobility: Willingness to travel between properties in Bali as needed.
