Responsibility
- Develop, implement, and annually update Housekeeping Standards and Procedures to maintain consistency with luxury hospitality benchmarks.
- Design and oversee comprehensive cleaning schedules for all guest areas, back-of-house, and public spaces, ensuring optimal efficiency and coverage.
- Lead, mentor, and train a multicultural housekeeping team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct regular inspections of rooms, suites, and common areas to ensure adherence to brand standards and guest expectations.
- Collaborate with Procurement and Finance to manage inventory, budget allocation, and cost control for housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Implement sustainable and eco-friendly practices in cleaning operations to align with global hospitality trends.
- Handle guest complaints or special requests related to housekeeping services with diplomacy and prompt resolution.
- Liaise with Front Office, Engineering, and Maintenance teams to coordinate seamless operations and address facility-related issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a Housekeeping leadership role (e.g., Executive Housekeeper, Assistant Director) within 4- or 5-star hotels/resorts.
- Proven track record of managing large teams (50+ staff) and delivering exceptional service standards in high-volume environments.
- In-depth knowledge of housekeeping SOPs, chemical safety, and sanitation protocols (e.g., HACCP, OSHA).
- Strong budgeting and cost-control skills, with experience in vendor negotiations and inventory management.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken); Bahasa Indonesia or other languages are advantageous.
- Proficiency in PMS (Property Management Systems) such as Opera, Amadeus, or similar.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities with a guest-centric mindset.
