As a Cook Helper, you will assist chefs in preparing ingredients, maintaining kitchen cleanliness, and adhering to standardized recipes and procedures. Responsibility
- Assist chefs in preparing ingredients, including washing, peeling, chopping, and measuring.
- Support the cooking process by operating kitchen equipment and following standardized recipes.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including sanitizing workstations, utensils, and storage areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP, SOP).
- Assist in plating and presenting dishes according to established guidelines.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify supervisors of low stock or supply needs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and efficient service during peak hours.
- Follow all company policies, including uniform and grooming standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; culinary training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service role (internship or entry-level accepted).
- Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and kitchen safety.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 10 kg.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Familiarity with Indonesian or international cuisine is advantageous.
