Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute long-term facilities and construction strategies for Micron’s South Asia operations, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regional growth plans.
- Project Oversight: Lead end-to-end management of large-scale construction projects, from site selection and feasibility studies to design, procurement, and commissioning.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with government agencies, local authorities, and internal teams (Engineering, EHS, Legal) to secure permits, compliance, and community support.
- Budget & Risk Management: Oversee multi-million-dollar budgets, mitigate project risks, and ensure cost-effective, on-time delivery without compromising quality or safety.
- Sustainability & Innovation: Champion eco-friendly and energy-efficient facility designs, integrating Micron’s sustainability goals into all construction initiatives.
- Team Development: Build and mentor a high-performing facilities and construction team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Vendor & Contractor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to Micron’s global standards.
- Operational Readiness: Ensure seamless transition from construction to operational phases, including utility setup, security systems, and workforce integration.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field. Master’s or MBA preferred.
- Experience: 15+ years in facilities management, construction, or industrial real estate, with at least 5 years in a director-level role for multinational corporations.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in semiconductor, high-tech manufacturing, or data center facility development. Familiarity with cleanroom standards is a plus.
- Regional Expertise: Experience working in Southeast Asia, with strong understanding of local regulations, labor markets, and business practices.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence senior stakeholders, and drive large-scale projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Expertise in BIM, AutoCAD, project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project), and LEED/Green Building certifications.
- Language: Fluent in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other regional languages is advantageous.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently across South Asia (up to 40%) to oversee projects and engage with stakeholders.
