Responsibility
- Lead and scale a large Finance & Accounting outsourcing team serving US clients, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to SLAs.
- Oversee end-to-end accounting operations, including AP/AR, general ledger, payroll, and financial reporting under US GAAP.
- Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability in financial workflows.
- Collaborate with US-based clients and stakeholders to align financial strategies, resolve escalations, and drive client satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with US tax regulations, SOX controls, and internal audit requirements.
- Monitor KPIs, financial performance, and team productivity, providing actionable insights to senior leadership.
- Mentor and train accounting teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization for outsourced finance operations.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Finance & Accounting, with at least 5 years in a leadership role managing outsourced teams for US clients.
- Deep expertise in US GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close processes.
- Proven success in scaling accounting operations for BPO, shared services, or outsourcing firms.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle) and accounting software.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-financial audiences.
- Experience with SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit coordination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA is a strong plus.
- Willingness to work on a graveyard shift (US time zone alignment) and based in Bali, Indonesia.
