Responsibility
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a long-term vision for commercial and auxiliary services, ensuring alignment with NTU’s academic and community goals.
- Operational Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations of hospitality, leasing, retail, and event services, optimizing resource allocation and service quality.
- Financial Management: Oversee budgets, revenue streams, and cost-control measures to ensure sustainable growth and profitability.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with students, faculty, vendors, and external partners to enhance service offerings.
- Innovation & Sustainability: Introduce cutting-edge solutions and eco-friendly practices to modernize campus services and reduce environmental impact.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and expand a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure adherence to university policies, local regulations, and industry standards while mitigating operational risks.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics to assess performance, identify trends, and implement data-backed improvements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in commercial services, hospitality, or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Industry Knowledge: Proven track record in managing multi-service portfolios (e.g., dining, retail, leasing, events) within academic, corporate, or large-scale environments.
- Leadership Skills: Exceptional ability to inspire teams, drive change, and collaborate across departments and external stakeholders.
- Financial Acumen: Strong budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management skills with a focus on revenue optimization.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and implement long-term plans that balance innovation with operational feasibility.
- Communication: Fluent English (written and verbal) with outstanding presentation and negotiation skills.
- Tech-Savviness: Proficiency in ERP systems, CRM tools, and data analytics platforms to streamline operations.
