Responsibility
- Provide warm, professional, and attentive table service to guests, ensuring a seamless dining experience from arrival to departure.
- Take and accurately relay food and beverage orders, including special requests or dietary restrictions, to the kitchen and bar teams.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the menu, ingredients, and preparation methods to offer expert recommendations and answer guest inquiries.
- Set up, clean, and reset tables efficiently to uphold restaurant standards and prepare for incoming guests.
- Collaborate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to coordinate service timing and resolve any guest concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately using POS systems and handle cash/credit transactions with integrity.
- Assist in opening/closing duties, including restocking supplies, polishing silverware, and maintaining a tidy workstation.
- Uphold health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a dining or hospitality role (casual or fine dining preferred).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and remain composed under pressure.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurantâs operating hours.
