Responsibility
- Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, providing recommendations based on menu knowledge and guest preferences.
- Deliver orders promptly and check back to ensure guest satisfaction with their meals.
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including setting tables, replenishing supplies, and clearing used dishes.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, escalating issues to management when necessary.
- Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure seamless service and minimize wait times.
- Process payments accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with restaurant policies.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality role (preferred but not required; training provided).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong customer service orientation with a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a high level of attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the restaurant’s operating hours.
- Neat and professional appearance, adhering to the restaurant’s dress code.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
