Responsibility
- Manage and maintain enterprise Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems, ensuring optimal performance and user accessibility.
- Develop and enforce metadata schemas, taxonomies, and tagging standards to improve asset searchability and retrieval.
- Conduct regular audits of digital assets to ensure compliance with licensing, usage rights, and brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, and IT teams to streamline asset ingestion, distribution, and archival processes.
- Train end-users on DAM system functionalities, best practices, and workflow integrations.
- Monitor system usage analytics and generate reports to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for optimization.
- Troubleshoot technical issues related to asset uploads, downloads, and permissions, escalating complex problems as needed.
- Stay updated on emerging DAM technologies and industry trends to recommend enhancements and future-proofing strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Library Science, Digital Media, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience managing enterprise DAM systems (e.g., Adobe Experience Manager, Bynder, Canto, or similar).
- Strong understanding of metadata standards (e.g., Dublin Core, IPTC, EXIF) and rights management protocols.
- Proficiency in auditing digital assets for compliance, quality, and organizational consistency.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret system data and user feedback.
- Familiarity with API integrations, workflow automation, and basic scripting (e.g., Python, JavaScript) is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting while collaborating effectively with global teams.
