Responsibility
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployments and testing.
- Manage and monitor cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure high availability and performance.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system outages, performance bottlenecks, and security vulnerabilities.
- Implement and enforce security best practices for infrastructure and deployment processes.
- Monitor system logs, metrics, and alerts to proactively identify and address issues.
- Document processes, configurations, and runbooks for operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in a DevOps or Cloud Engineering role.
- Proficiency in Linux/Unix systems and scripting languages (Bash, Python, or Ruby).
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Strong knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and orchestration tools.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a night shift environment.
