Responsibility
- Provide first-level IT support to end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop computers, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot Windows/macOS systems, applications, and connectivity problems.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls in Active Directory or similar systems.
- Perform routine system updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure compliance.
- Assist in setting up and deploying new workstations and software installations.
- Document IT issues, resolutions, and service requests in a ticketing system.
- Collaborate with the IT team to improve system performance and user experience.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support, helpdesk, or IT technical roles.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and common business applications.
- Familiarity with Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, and basic networking concepts.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and in a team under minimal supervision.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP), or ITIL are a plus.
- Willingness to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay updated with emerging technologies.
