Responsibility
- Act as the primary on-site Design Site Representative, ensuring construction activities comply with approved designs and Employer’s Requirements.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify adherence to technical specifications, safety standards, and quality control measures.
- Collaborate with design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical discrepancies and propose practical solutions.
- Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents to guide on-site execution.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on site progress, non-compliance issues, and corrective actions taken.
- Coordinate with project managers to ensure timely delivery of milestones while maintaining budgetary constraints.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site personnel.
- Participate in project meetings, risk assessments, and safety briefings to mitigate potential hazards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in site engineering, construction supervision, or design coordination.
- Proven expertise in interpreting engineering drawings, CAD software, and BIM tools.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulatory standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Certification in health and safety (e.g., OSHA, NEBOSH) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
