Responsibility
- Design, analyze, and optimize high-voltage and low-voltage power systems, including substations, switchgear, and distribution networks.
- Develop technical specifications, schematics, and single-line diagrams for electrical projects in compliance with IEC, IEEE, and PLN standards.
- Conduct load flow, short-circuit, and arc flash studies using software like ETAP, SKM, or PSS/E.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (civil, mechanical, and project managers) to integrate electrical designs into broader infrastructure projects.
- Perform site inspections and troubleshoot electrical issues to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
- Prepare and review technical reports, risk assessments, and project documentation for stakeholders and regulatory bodies.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies in smart grids, renewable energy, and energy storage to drive innovation in Bali’s power sector.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Power Systems specialization preferred).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on power distribution, substations, or industrial electrical systems.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Proficiency in ETAP, AutoCAD, Revit, or similar design tools for electrical modeling and simulation.
- Strong knowledge of Indonesian electrical codes (PUIL, SNI) and international standards (IEC, NEC).
- Experience with project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Indonesian is advantageous.
