Responsibility
- Review and validate design submissions to ensure compliance with technical standards, authority regulations, and project guidelines.
- Provide expert technical input to optimize design efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- Lead coordination between design teams, engineers, and external stakeholders to align deliverables with project timelines.
- Conduct risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies for design-related challenges.
- Oversee the preparation of design documentation, including drawings, specifications, and reports.
- Mentor junior designers and engineers to uphold best practices and foster professional growth.
- Liaise with local authorities to secure necessary approvals and permits for project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance design processes and outcomes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in design management, with a focus on infrastructure or large-scale projects.
- Proven expertise in local and international design codes, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficiency in design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, BIM) and project management tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience in Southeast Asia or similar markets is highly desirable.
