Responsibility
- Lead the development and optimization of injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production and efficiency.
- Collaborate with tooling engineers to design, test, and refine molds for optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve process-related issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct process validation and qualification activities to meet industry standards and customer requirements.
- Mentor and train junior engineers and technicians on best practices in injection molding.
- Analyze production data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Work closely with R&D and production teams to support new product introductions and process transfers.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in injection molding process engineering, tooling engineering, or a combined role.
- Strong working knowledge of thermoplastic materials and their processing characteristics.
- Experience with process optimization, DOE (Design of Experiments), and statistical process control (SPC).
- Proficiency in CAD software and mold flow analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to mentor teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and quality management systems is a plus.
