As a DfS Professional, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement proactive safety measures. Your expertise will drive compliance with international safety standards and foster a culture of risk awareness within the organization.
Based in the vibrant regions of Canggu, Ubud, Denpasar, Jimbaran, Nusa Dua, Kuta, or Badung, this role combines technical rigor with strategic leadership, offering a competitive salary of $9,000 – $12,000 per year and the chance to contribute to landmark infrastructure projects in Indonesia.
Responsibility
- Develop and implement Design for Safety (DfS) frameworks to integrate safety into project designs from inception.
- Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification workshops to mitigate potential safety risks.
- Facilitate risk management sessions with stakeholders to align on safety protocols and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to ensure safety considerations are embedded in design plans.
- Monitor and evaluate safety performance metrics, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Prepare and present safety reports, risk assessments, and compliance documentation to senior management.
- Stay updated on industry best practices, regulations, and emerging trends in construction safety and risk management.
- Train and mentor project teams on DfS principles and risk mitigation strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction safety, risk management, or a similar role.
- Certification in Design for Safety (DfS), NEBOSH, or equivalent safety qualifications.
- Proven experience in facilitating risk management workshops and safety training programs.
- Strong knowledge of international safety standards (e.g., ISO 45001, OSHA) and local regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in multicultural teams and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in risk assessment tools and safety management software.
