Responsibility
- Develop and review mechanical and electrical (M&E) designs in compliance with local and international standards.
- Produce detailed shop drawings and BIM models using AutoCAD, Revit, or similar software.
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of M&E systems.
- Prepare and manage submission documents for regulatory approvals and client reviews.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to verify design implementation and resolve technical issues.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize system performance, sustainability, and cost-efficiency.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in M&E engineering.
- Provide technical support and mentorship to junior engineers and drafters.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in M&E design, preferably in consulting or construction firms.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and BIM software (e.g., Navisworks).
- Strong knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for client and team collaboration.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Certification in LEED, Green Mark, or similar sustainability standards is a plus.
