Responsibility
- Develop detailed engineering designs, layout plans, and technical drawings using AutoCAD or similar software.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other engineers to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
- Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data and inform design decisions.
- Review and analyze engineering specifications and requirements to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and documentation to stakeholders.
- Optimize designs for cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and performance.
- Troubleshoot design issues and provide innovative solutions to technical challenges.
- Stay updated with the latest design tools, technologies, and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Design Engineer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio of technical drawings.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other relevant design software.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
