Responsibility
- Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and customer service standards.
- Act as the Restaurant Manager in their absence, ensuring seamless leadership and decision-making.
- Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, and hygiene in compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Train, mentor, and motivate staff to deliver exceptional guest experiences and uphold company values.
- Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly to ensure satisfaction and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Assist in budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting to optimize profitability.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the hospitality industry, preferably in fine dining or luxury establishments.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a team in a high-pressure environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
- Strong understanding of restaurant operations, including POS systems, inventory management, and staff training.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle guest concerns diplomatically.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the business.
- Knowledge of local and international culinary trends, as well as wine and beverage pairings.
- Certification in food safety and hygiene (e.g., HACCP) is highly desirable.
