Responsibility
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise-wide security solutions, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols.
- Oversee the daily operations of the bank’s security infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and remediate potential threats.
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices in alignment with industry standards (e.g., ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
- Collaborate with IT and business units to integrate security measures into new and existing systems.
- Monitor security incidents, lead investigations, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Stay abreast of emerging cybersecurity trends, threats, and technologies to proactively enhance the bank’s security framework.
- Mentor and train junior security personnel, fostering a culture of security awareness across the organization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) are a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT security, with at least 3 years in a managerial or leadership role.
- Proven expertise in security architectures, network security, and endpoint protection.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements relevant to the banking sector.
- Experience with security tools such as SIEM, IDS/IPS, DLP, and vulnerability management platforms.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
