Responsibility

  • Lead the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and initiatives to support organizational growth and compliance with local labor laws.
  • Partner with department heads to identify talent needs, design workforce plans, and drive recruitment strategies for key roles.
  • Oversee employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Spearhead the transition to a locally empowered HR model, including training and upskilling regional HR teams.
  • Manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and alignment with market standards.
  • Develop and monitor HR KPIs, providing data-driven insights to senior management for strategic decision-making.
  • Champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to build a culture of belonging across all retail locations.
  • Coordinate HR technology implementations (e.g., HRIS, ATS) to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field. Master’s degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPD) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial or deputy role within retail, hospitality, or a fast-paced service industry.
  • Proven track record in talent acquisition, employee relations, and HR operations in a multi-location or regional context.
  • Strong knowledge of Indonesian labor laws and regulations, with experience navigating compliance in a retail environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills to influence at all levels.
  • Data-driven mindset with proficiency in HR analytics and reporting tools.
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal); proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-pressure environment while maintaining a strategic and solution-oriented approach.
