Responsibility
- Develop comprehensive project briefs, technical specifications, and requirements for procurement of consultancy and construction contracts, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory standards.
- Lead cross-functional teams including architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Oversee feasibility studies, risk assessments, and cost estimations for new development initiatives in luxury resort and leisure infrastructure.
- Negotiate and manage high-value contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers, optimizing value while mitigating project risks.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, environmental regulations, and sustainability best practices in all construction activities.
- Monitor project progress through KPIs, milestones, and regular reporting to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive innovation in construction methodologies, incorporating smart technologies and eco-friendly materials where applicable.
- Foster strong relationships with government agencies, local communities, and industry partners to facilitate smooth project execution.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field. Professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in project delivery and construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality, leisure, or real estate sectors.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale construction projects (USD 10M+) from inception to completion, preferably in Southeast Asia.
- Strong expertise in procurement, contract negotiation, and vendor management for high-end developments.
- Excellent knowledge of local building regulations, zoning laws, and environmental standards in Indonesia.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) and BIM tools.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia is highly advantageous.
