Responsibility
- Conduct comprehensive dental assessments, including oral health evaluations, X-rays, and diagnostic tests.
- Perform professional teeth cleaning, scaling, and polishing to prevent gum disease and cavities.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, diet, and preventive care tailored to their needs.
- Assist dentists in procedures such as fillings, extractions, and root canal treatments.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients with periodontal or dental issues.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history, treatment notes, and progress tracking.
- Ensure compliance with sterilization, infection control, and clinic safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Dental Therapy, Dental Hygiene, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Valid Indonesian dental therapist license (STR) and certification to practice.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in a dental clinic or hospital setting.
- Proficient in using dental tools, X-ray machines, and digital record-keeping systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build trust with patients of all ages.
- Fluency in English and Indonesian; additional languages are a plus.
- Knowledge of current dental health regulations and best practices in Indonesia.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on advancements in dental care.
