Responsibility
- Assist dentists during surgical and non-surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized.
- Monitor and maintain a clean, organized, and sterile clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards.
- Educate patients on pre- and post-operative care, answering questions and providing reassurance.
- Prepare treatment rooms, set up equipment, and ensure all dental tools are functional and ready for use.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies, placing orders as needed to avoid shortages.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and processing patient documentation.
- Provide chairside support during procedures, handing instruments to the dentist and ensuring patient comfort.
Qualifications
- Certificate or diploma in Dental Assisting, Nursing, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role (fresh graduates with training are welcome).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and sterilization protocols.
- Excellent communication skills in English; proficiency in Indonesian is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills for patient record management and scheduling.
- Certification in radiography (X-ray) is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Compassionate, professional demeanor with a focus on patient care and confidentiality.
