Responsibility
- Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared.
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment to meet hygiene standards.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
- Manage patient records, including updating medical histories and treatment plans.
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure a clean, organized workspace.
- Provide chairside assistance, including handling suction devices and passing instruments.
- Assist with administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing inventory.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Dental Surgery Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and equipment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Basic computer skills for managing patient records and scheduling.
- Certification in dental assisting or relevant training is a plus.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Bahasa Indonesia is beneficial.
