Responsibility
- Assist dentists during dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and sterilized.
- Provide chairside support, including passing instruments, operating suction devices, and ensuring patient comfort.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including medical histories and treatment plans.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile clinical environment.
- Manage dental supplies and equipment, including inventory control and ordering.
- Assist in dental radiography and other diagnostic procedures as required.
- Collaborate with the dental team to provide efficient and compassionate patient care.
Qualifications
- Diploma (D3) in Dental Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Active STR (Surat Tanda Registrasi) as a Dental Nurse.
- Willingness to obtain SIP (Surat Izin Praktik) if not already held.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in dental nursing or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control practices.
