Responsibility
- Assist dentists during clinical procedures, including preparations, instrument handling, and patient positioning.
- Ensure all dental instruments and equipment are sterilized, maintained, and ready for use.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive dental measures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, including setting up trays, materials, and ensuring a clean, organized workspace.
- Take and develop dental X-rays while adhering to radiation safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including medical histories, treatment notes, and follow-up care instructions.
- Provide chairside support to patients, ensuring their comfort and addressing any concerns during procedures.
- Collaborate with the dental team to manage appointment schedules and patient flow efficiently.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Dental Nursing (SMK/D3 Keperawatan Gigi) or equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Nurse or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Proficiency in operating dental equipment, including X-ray machines and sterilization tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients of all ages.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR is a plus.
- Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages are advantageous.
