Responsibility
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable for various dental practices.
- Contact insurance companies to follow up on unpaid or denied claims.
- Research and resolve claim discrepancies and billing errors promptly.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of all collection activities in the practice management system.
- Communicate professionally with patients regarding their account balances and payment plans.
- Generate and analyze aging reports to prioritize collection efforts.
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA regulations and data privacy protocols.
Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years of experience in medical or dental collections.
- Strong understanding of dental insurance processes, EOBs, and claim denials.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Reliable high-speed internet connection and a secure, professional workspace.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Dentrix, Open Dental, or similar).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
