Responsibility
- Assist dentists during a variety of clinical procedures, including examinations, fillings, extractions, and cosmetic treatments.
- Prepare treatment rooms by setting up instruments, equipment, and materials to ensure readiness for procedures.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques, post-operative care, and preventive dental practices.
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (if certified) and maintain accurate patient records in digital systems.
- Manage patient flow by escorting them to treatment rooms, ensuring comfort, and addressing any concerns.
- Order and maintain inventory of dental supplies, ensuring the clinic is well-stocked at all times.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth clinic operations and exceptional patient experiences.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution (preferred).
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a Dental Assistant in a clinical or hospital setting.
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with digital radiography and dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Certification in CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) is highly desirable.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in Indonesian or other languages is an advantage.
