Responsibility
- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring adherence to legal and ethical standards.
- Provide patient counseling on medication usage, side effects, and drug interactions to promote safe and effective treatment.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including ordering, stocking, and monitoring supplies to prevent shortages or excess.
- Collaborate with doctors, nurses, and healthcare teams to review and verify prescriptions for accuracy and appropriateness.
- Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications, patient interactions, and controlled substances in compliance with regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of sterile compounds (e.g., IV mixtures) and ensure aseptic techniques are followed.
- Educate staff and patients on pharmaceutical best practices, new medications, and health promotion strategies.
- Implement and enforce pharmacy policies, SOPs, and quality control measures to uphold service excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Valid Pharmacist License in Indonesia (or eligibility for reciprocity).
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in a hospital, retail, or clinical pharmacy setting.
- Strong knowledge of pharmacology, drug interactions, and therapeutic guidelines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and healthcare teams.
- Proficiency in pharmacy management software and Microsoft Office tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to continuing education and staying updated on pharmaceutical advancements.
