Responsibility
- Assess patientsâ physical conditions, functional limitations, and medical histories to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation) to improve mobility and reduce pain.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists to ensure holistic, patient-centered care.
- Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, home exercise programs, and long-term wellness strategies.
- Conduct group therapy sessions for conditions such as post-stroke rehabilitation, sports injuries, or chronic pain management.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in physical therapy through continuing education and professional development.
- Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
- Valid Indonesian Physical Therapist license (STR) or eligibility for licensure in Indonesia.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or rehabilitation setting (new graduates with exceptional skills will be considered).
- Proficiency in English and Bahasa Indonesia; additional languages (e.g., Mandarin, Japanese) are a plus.
- Strong clinical reasoning skills and ability to develop individualized treatment plans.
- Experience with manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and rehabilitation modalities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and multidisciplinary teams.
