Responsibility
- Assist dentists during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices.
- Take and develop dental X-rays as required by the dentist.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for procedures.
- Provide chairside support, including handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient and compassionate patient care.
Qualifications
- Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution.
- Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with dental software and digital X-ray systems is a plus.
- Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
- Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
