Responsibility

  • Assist dentists during dental procedures by preparing treatment rooms, instruments, and materials.
  • Ensure strict adherence to infection control and sterilization protocols.
  • Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene best practices.
  • Take and develop dental X-rays as required by the dentist.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and update dental charts.
  • Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, ensuring availability for procedures.
  • Provide chairside support, including handing instruments and ensuring patient comfort.
  • Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient and compassionate patient care.

Qualifications

  • Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited institution.
  • Proven experience as a Dental Assistant in a hospital or clinical setting (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with patients and staff.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with dental software and digital X-ray systems is a plus.
  • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.
  • Fluency in English; knowledge of Indonesian (Bahasa) is advantageous.
