Responsibility

  • Assist the Head Chef in preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
  • Ensure that all food items are prepared and presented in a timely manner, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that all ingredients and supplies are adequately stocked.
  • Follow food safety and hygiene regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
  • Train and mentor junior kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills.
  • Participate in regular kitchen meetings to discuss menu changes, customer feedback, and operational improvements.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Demi Chef or similar role in a professional kitchen environment.
