Responsibility
- Develop and implement demand forecasting models to predict product needs and optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance, identifying trends and recommending adjustments to improve turnover and reduce excess stock.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to align supply chain operations with business objectives.
- Lead monthly and quarterly inventory planning cycles, ensuring accurate stock allocation across all retail locations.
- Utilize ERP and inventory management software to track stock movements, generate reports, and provide actionable insights.
- Conduct regular audits to ensure data accuracy and compliance with company policies and industry standards.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements within the supply chain.
- Train and mentor team members on best practices in demand planning and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
- Proven expertise in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel skills for data analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in the retail or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Certification in Supply Chain Management (e.g., CSCP, CPIM) is highly desirable.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
