Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using historical data, market trends, and collaborative input from sales, marketing, and operations teams.
- Monitor and analyze inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock availability while minimizing excess and obsolescence.
- Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and production teams to align supply plans with demand forecasts.
- Identify risks and opportunities in the supply chain, proposing mitigation strategies to prevent disruptions.
- Utilize ERP systems and advanced planning tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) to streamline forecasting processes.
- Prepare and present monthly/quarterly demand reviews with actionable insights for senior management.
- Work closely with regional teams to understand local market dynamics and adjust forecasts accordingly.
- Drive continuous improvement in forecast accuracy and service levels through data analysis and process optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain analytics, or inventory management, preferably in the APAC region.
- Proficiency in forecasting tools (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle Demantra, or Excel-based modeling).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to collaborate across departments.
- Experience working in manufacturing, FMCG, or hospitality industries is a plus.
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is advantageous.
- Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid setting with a results-driven mindset.
