Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate statistical demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for defined product families.
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to integrate market intelligence and promotional activities into the demand plan.
- Analyze inventory performance metrics and lead initiatives to optimize stock levels and reduce obsolescence.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as Forecast Accuracy and Bias, taking corrective action when necessary.
- Facilitate monthly S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) review meetings with key stakeholders to align on business targets.
- Identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain planning cycle to increase efficiency.
- Coordinate with global manufacturing sites to manage supply constraints and expedite critical orders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or inventory management, preferably within the life sciences or manufacturing sector.
- Strong proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive consensus across different business functions.
- Excellent analytical skills with a meticulous approach to data accuracy and trend analysis.
- Working knowledge of forecasting software or statistical modeling tools.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
