Responsibility
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts by analyzing historical sales data and market trends.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain teams to incorporate business intelligence into forecasting models.
- Monitor inventory levels and identify potential stock-out risks or overstock situations.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management regarding forecast accuracy and demand variances.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of the planning cycle.
- Manage SKU-level forecasting and monitor new product introductions or promotional activities.
- Act as the primary point of contact for supply chain stakeholders regarding demand-related updates.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in demand planning, inventory control, or supply chain analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, vlookup, and complex formulas).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work cross-functionally across departments.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with ERP software or inventory management systems is highly preferred.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail and data integrity.
