As our Demand Planner, you will act as the strategic bridge between Sales, Marketing, and Operations. You will analyze historical data, market trends, and seasonal patterns to generate highly accurate demand forecasts. Responsibility
- Develop, review, and maintain highly accurate monthly and rolling demand forecasts for assigned product categories.
- Analyze historical sales trends, market behavior, and promotional activities to identify demand drivers and refine forecasting models.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Finance teams to align market-facing activities with operational capabilities.
- Monitor key inventory performance metrics, proactively identifying risk areas for stockouts or overstock situations.
- Conduct root-cause analyses on forecast deviations and implement strategic adjustments to continuously improve forecast accuracy.
- Actively participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to facilitate inventory alignment and business planning.
- Generate and present regular demand planning and inventory health reports to management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Research, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analysis.
- Strong proficiency in statistical forecasting methods and historical data analysis.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, data modeling) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical mindset, problem-solving skills, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
