Responsibility
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data platforms to support enterprise-wide analytics and operational needs.
- Lead the architecture and integration of cloud-based data solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Develop and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks to protect sensitive information.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data strategies, roadmaps, and best practices for data management.
- Optimize data pipelines, storage, and processing systems for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Mentor and guide engineering teams on data architecture principles and emerging technologies.
- Evaluate and recommend cutting-edge tools and platforms to enhance data capabilities.
- Ensure seamless data migration, integration, and interoperability across systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience (8+ years) in data architecture, with a focus on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong expertise in big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and database systems (SQL, NoSQL).
- Experience with data modeling, ETL processes, and real-time data processing.
- Familiarity with data security standards (GDPR, ISO 27001) and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills to drive collaboration across teams.
- Certifications in cloud architecture (AWS Certified, Google Professional Data Engineer) are a plus.
