Responsibility
- Validate and maintain master data, including company names, addresses, and other critical business entities, using global data sources and internal tools.
- Perform regular data audits to identify and correct inconsistencies, duplicates, or inaccuracies in the system.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Procurement, Logistics, Finance) to ensure data alignment and support business processes.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to enhance data quality and integrity.
- Utilize data management software (e.g., SAP MDG, Informatica) to streamline data maintenance workflows.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track data quality metrics and present findings to stakeholders.
- Respond to data-related inquiries and provide timely resolutions to internal and external partners.
- Stay updated on industry best practices for data management and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in master data management, data governance, or a similar role, preferably in manufacturing or logistics.
- Proficiency in data validation tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, SQL, Excel) and familiarity with ERP systems.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and identify trends or discrepancies.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy in data entry and maintenance.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with global teams and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with data cleansing, standardization, and enrichment techniques.
- Certification in Data Management (CDMP) or similar is a plus.
